The 360 degree digital printing is a technology De-Yuan Knitting has recently applied on hosiery products from socks to leggings and pantyhose. In comparison to sublimation printing, 360 degree printing has quite some notable advantages.
As its name suggests, the outcome of 360 degree printing has perfect continuity and integrity of the design patterns. With sublimation printing, all-round continuous patters are not possible, and most of the cases there would be a thin blank border line or an overlapping line at the edge of the printing surfaces.
Better permeability of colors is achieved with 360 degree printing. When stretched, the hosiery products would be able to retain more the color density and would not present the “diluted” look as found on the sublimation printed products.
360 degree printing makes it possible to print sophisticated patterns precisely on more materials, such as cotton and nylon which would not work with sublimation printing.
The original softness and fluffy touch of various materials can be well retained after 360 degree printing process. Sublimation printing can only produce a silky shiny surface, which may not always be desired.
The natural elasticity or expandability of materials is mostly preserved under 360 degree printing, as it does not have to involve high temper pressing.
From leggings and pantyhose to sports socks, from sheer to thick, on cotton, nylon, polyester and more, 360 degree printing has provided an improved image quality with higher precision that can much better bring your designers' ideas to live.
